The responsibilities of the Vice President of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication include both administrative and leadership duties. Administrative duties include activities such as reviewing and updating the chapter bylaws and the Administrative Council handbook. Leadership duties include assisting the President as necessary and being one of three signatories to the chapter bank accounts. The Vice President may also fill in for the President in case of absence or incapacity.
