The Reservations Manager for the Society for Technical Communication Silicon Valley Chapter (STC-SVC) coordinates the chapter dinner meetings and the three annual schmoozes. As the Reservations Manager, you reserve the meeting room, collect the reservations, coordinate the food, sign in the attendees, and send monthly reports to the Secretary.
The Reservations Manager is one of the more visible STC-SVC representatives at the chapter meetings, since you are probably the first person that the attendees see. You greet the attendees and guest speakers and sign them in. It is important to be professional, since you are representing our chapter.
